• Scheduling Information: session times, availability preferences, and notes related to scheduling or rescheduling.
• Usage Data: automatically collected technical information such as browser type, device information, and access times (used for service reliability and troubleshooting).
• Integrations: data shared through connected services such as Google Calendar for scheduling synchronization and SMS providers for notifications.
• Google Calendar Data: When tutors enable two-way calendar sync, we read event information (event times, titles, and free/busy status) from their selected Google Calendars. For events marked as private or confidential in Google Calendar, we access only the time range and busy/free status — not the event title or details.

We do not collect or store payment card information.

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• Coordinate scheduling, rescheduling, and notifications between parents, tutors, and administrators;
• Send automated reminders and confirmations via SMS or email;
• Communicate with users about technical or account issues;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service; and
• Display tutor calendar availability to administrators for scheduling coordination and conflict prevention.

We do not use personal information for marketing or advertising purposes.

We process personal data:

• To perform our contractual obligations to you (providing scheduling and notifications);
• To comply with legal requirements; and
• To pursue legitimate interests in improving and securing the Service.

We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:

• Service Providers: with trusted vendors such as Google (calendar integration) and SMS providers (messaging).
• Legal Requirements: if required to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests.
• Corporate Transactions: in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization of Crothers, Inc.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described above. When no longer needed, information will be securely deleted or anonymized.

Google Calendar event data is cached locally and refreshed periodically. When a tutor disconnects their calendar or disables two-way sync, all cached external calendar data is deleted promptly.

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection of data transmitted over the Internet.

Only parents or legal guardians may create accounts on the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
